Who We Are
The Friends of Santa Clarita Library is a 501C(3) non-profit organization made up of volunteers who provide funding to Santa Clarita Valley area libraries to promote literacy & love of reading.
What We Do
We organize community events, fundraising campaigns, special programs and provide support to all the branches of the library throughout the year.
Join Our Family
Your membership goes towards the funding of library programs such as the Summer Reading Program, One Story One City, and Local Author Events.
Farewell to a Friend
John M. Winslow passed away on October 12th at the age of 63. John worked as a system analyst for Aerojet, Rockwell and Northrop Grumman. After retirement from 22 years at Northrop Grumman, John joined the Friends of the Santa Clarita Public Library as a Founding Board Member supporting fundraisers and volunteering as a STAR reader to preschool children. John loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid reader participating in local Book Clubs. He will be missed.
